Earlier today: We are currently experiencing an outage of our phone services. Calls from out of Windom into and out of Windomnet are affected. Local calls between Windomnet customers and other local phone providers are also affected. Local calls from and to Windomnet customers are working. The outage is possibly from a fiber optic cut or a network element issue in the Minneapolis area. The appropriate companies are working to resolve the issue.

We have now learned that the phone service outage event goes from Minnesota, to Colorado, South Dakota, and California. We will continue to update as new information becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
