Planned upgrade to resolve browser issues with Windomnet email server.

Dear Windomnet Customer,

Regarding: Windomnet web email login TLS issues – Warning page received “Your connection is not fully secure” when going to the Windomnet email login page mail.windomnet.com on Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and other web browsers.

Microsoft Edge, Chrome, and other browsers have increased their security requirements to TLS 1.2. Our email server website uses TLS 1.0/1.1, which the browsers now consider depreciated and will be disabled in the future.

We are working on solution to resolve the TLS issue. This will involve upgrades which are being worked and scheduled to start on Monday July 27th at 5:00 PM until completed. During the upgrade process, there will be no access to the Windomnet email server. However, inbound email will be stored by the SPAM filter server until the email server is ready to take in the email. Outbound email will sit in the outbox until connection to the email server is restored.

During the period of time before the email server upgraded, customers may choose to proceed through the webpage warning (click Advanced), Proceed to mail.windomnet.com (unsafe) and access the email webpage. Passwords may have to be reentered at each login.
